Creel Adapters - Product Description A creel adapter is a device used to align a yarn package when it is placed on a creel. Most creels have a simple pin on which the yarn package is mounted. Different sizes of package tubes can cause the center line to vary between sizes. Using our Creel adapters helps to obtain a central alignment of the package to it's corresponding guides. This enables the yarn to pull off the package evenly. These adapters are available in a range of standard sizes: 2" 75mm 94mm 110mm 112mm Eldon Specialties also offers a special series of creel adapters that work together to facilitate changes in package size. With these adapters, larger adapters can be placed onto or taken off of smaller adapters when changes in package size occur. This flexibility allows changeovers to be simple and efficient in situations where package size changes frequently. These adapters are designed to fit a 1/2" creel pin and are available in the following sizes: 2" 75mm 94mm 110mm Roll-off adapters are also available. These are items that are used to assist in unrolling the yarn package on the creel. These adapters have a secure fit inside the package, while enabling it to rotate freely around the creel pin.
