Eldon-produced Creel Caps ( Typical )
Creel caps are a
cost-effective way to minimize yarn breaks when pulling yarn off a
package tube. Cardboard or fiber tubes can easily become damaged on the
end. This damage can snag filaments and cause the yarn to break.
Inserting
one of our creel caps into the end of the tube gives a smooth,
defect-free surface for the yarn to contact. This helps minimize yarn
breakage, especially in the last 25% of the yarn package.

creel caps in many common sizes (see table below).
Custom sizes are also
available for orders of sufficient quantity.
Different colors of plastic
